You are invited to a rather curious tea party for all kids ages 4 and older and the important women in their life. Join us on Saturday, May 13 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm for a whimsical high tea at the Badger Prairie Needs Network's Kasieta Center in Verona. We're serving a delicious menu of:
- Tea cakes
- Scones with cream and jam
- A selection of tea sandwiches, including devilled egg, Waldorf chicken salad, tuna salad, cucumber with dill and chive cream cheese (V), and peanut butter & jelly (V)
- Crudites and dips
- Fruit kebabs
- Chocolates
- Strawberry lemonade
- Coffee provided by Rusty Dog Coffee
- ...and of course, hot and iced teas provided by 6 & 12 Tea Company
Each table is hosted by a special local female leader or business owner. She'll share all the cool things about her profession and engage with you and your child on their interests and experiences. Our table hosts include:

Local author Alina Loux will read aloud from her new book, If You Were the Moon My Love, and guests will have the opportunity to participate in cookie decorating, a special photo op, tours of the pantry, or pick up that last-minute mother's day gift.
We're excited to partner with a number of local vendors to create a truly magical experience, including Hy-Vee, Fesitval Foods, Funny Faces Balloons, Rusty Dog Coffee, 6&12 Tea Company, Craig's Cakes, Surroundings, and more.
All ticket proceeds will benefit the food pantry at Badger Prairie Needs Network. BPNN is one of the three busiest food pantries in Dane Country and is 100% volunteer operated. We look forward to seeing your Cheshire Cat grin and finest tea party attire on May 13!
